Have checked out Google maps. Decided to look at central Australia around lake Eyre, the satellite pics are just wonderful, like beautiful abstract paintings.
Used it for finding my way to Port Melbourne recently too...think the Melways will soon become a poor cousin to the ubiquitous Google, well at least if I'm planning ahead for where I'm going!
